Webby Awards
2003 started with a great surprise when JAPANESE STREETS was
nominated for the world's best fashion site by the prestigious
Webby Awards, which have been called the "Oscars of the
internet". It was a great honor to be mentioned among sites
like Vogue's Style.com and SHOWstudio. |

Book about Japan
My Dutch book about Japan, "Vrouw breekt los" was published
in October 2002 and has been selling steadily throughout 2003.
It received excellent coverage by the media. I am now working
on the next book. It is in the same format and will be once again
published by my friends at BZZTÔH in the Netherlands, the
best publisher one can wish. The new book will be published Spring
2004. |

On
the Cover
Quite a few publishers used my photographs in 2003. My biggest
surprise was that many of them publish textbooks... Oxford University
Press even put one of my shots on the cover of their new English
conversation book.

Hyogo Prefecture
Another year meeting with the Meeting for the Promotion of an
Integrated Society (Hyogoken Gaikokujin Kenmin Kyosei Kaigi)
of Hyogo Prefecture. It is a great honor to be able to add my
little something.
