It is difficult to select highlights for 2005. I spent much of my time covering major disasters all over Asia. I was almost never at home. One highlight was certainly the 50th anniversary of the Netherlands Society in West Japan. We celebrated it in November and it was a very memorable day. Margriet, Jan-Koen and Marco, once again many thanks for all the work you put into this day! Hyogo Prefecture Another year meeting with the Meeting for the Promotion of an Integrated Society (Hyogoken Gaikokujin Kenmin Kyosei Kaigi) of Hyogo Prefecture. I also was asked as an advisor for the Hyogo Tourist Board again. It is a great honor to be able to add my little something. Thanks Fujii-san!
